For hands-off traders

Set the plan once. The bot works it.

Pick where your bot’s signals come from and set its size, exits and caps once. It trades inside those rules, pauses itself when a cap or the news filter says stop, and tells you in the app or by email when something needs you.

No card needed. Free includes 30 trades a month, 2 running bots and 1 broker account. Automation cuts the manual work; it doesn’t remove risk or promise income.

Pick where the signals come from

Each bot trades one instrument, on signals from the source you connect. TradingView, MetaTrader, Telegram and Discord are on every plan, Free included.

  • TradingView: paste the bot’s webhook URL and the message the panel writes into your alert. TradingView sends webhooks only on its plans that include them.
  • MetaTrader: a plugin in your terminal forwards its alerts, so the terminal must stay open for anything to arrive.
  • Telegram and Discord: sign in with your own Telegram, or add TraderFrame to a Discord server you manage, and pick one channel per bot. A message older than five minutes is never traded.
  • On Basic and up, Pip, the Trade Agent, finds entries on your bot’s pair inside hard limits you set. At Suggest each one waits for your tap; at Enter it places them and tells you. Looks that reach the model spend agent credits: 50 a month on Basic.
  • On Basic and up, copy a trader’s bot once its author approves. Their settings load into your bot as a draft, so you check the size, exits and caps before you switch it on. There are no copy fees.
  • On Standard and up, write and publish your own Pine-compatible scripts in the Build window, then run one on a bot.

Set the rules before you switch it on

Size, exits, caps, a news filter and a trading window live on the bot’s canvas. Activate stays greyed out until the bot has a signal source, a broker and a position size, and the builder lists anything still missing.

  • Exit rule: Auto close needs both a take profit and a stop loss (on MetaTrader 5, in your broker’s points), with an optional trailing stop. Follow the signal closes a position when the source sends the other side; on Market orders that means the bot places no stop and no target.
  • Profit and loss caps (the builder calls them Daily limits) pause the bot at its next signal once its closed result since you first switched it on reaches either one. They don’t reset each day, and you switch the bot back on yourself.
  • Pause around news pauses the bot around scheduled economic events and switches it back on by itself. It isn’t limited to your instrument’s currency, and high, medium and low impact are all ticked until you untick them.
  • A trading window (Schedule) refuses signals outside the days and hours you set.
  • Two running bots can’t trade the same pair on the same account: switching on the second is refused.

Know what keeps running when you close the app

Signals land on TraderFrame’s servers, are checked there, and the orders go to your broker. What has to stay on depends on where you trade.

  • A bot that’s switched off doesn’t trade: a signal that reaches a paused bot is dropped, and Telegram and Discord channels are read only for running bots.
  • If the MetaTrader EA goes quiet for 90 seconds, the account is marked disconnected and the app tells you. An order the EA doesn’t pick up within five minutes shows on the Trades tab as Not placed, with the reason.
  • While the Bridge is offline or IB Gateway is signed out, signals to an Interactive Brokers bot are refused, each with the reason in its Signals tab. Stops already at IBKR stay in place.

When it needs you, it says so

You hear about the events that need you, in the app, by email or both, depending on the event.

  • There’s no message for every trade. Only the Trade Agent tells you about its own entries.
  • News pauses and profit or loss cap pauses reach you by email, not in the app, so keep that inbox where you’ll see it.
  • A risk alert advises; it changes nothing on the bot.

Come back and read what it did

The Dashboard says in one line whether anything is blocking your bots. Each bot’s Signals tab lists what it traded, what a filter blocked and what failed, with the reason.

  • The Signals tab lists the signals the bot checked while it was on. Signals that arrive while it is paused, including a news pause, aren’t listed, and neither are signals refused once the month’s trades are used up.
  • The Trades tab shows how each trade closed: TP hit, SL hit, Trailed out or Signal exit.
  • When the month’s trades are used up, new orders are refused and open positions keep running to their exits.
  • Performance and the Journal start on Basic.

Questions

Before you step away

What keeps running when I close the app?

Bots on crypto exchanges and Deriv run on TraderFrame’s servers, so they keep working with the app closed. On MetaTrader 5, keep your terminal running with our EA attached and AutoTrading on. On Interactive Brokers, keep the TraderFrame Bridge and IB Gateway or TWS running and logged in.

Will I get a message for every trade?

No. You hear about the events that need you. A dropped MetaTrader or IBKR connection, a rejected exchange key, an error pause and the month’s trades running out show in the app; news pauses, cap pauses, error pauses, risk alerts and the month’s trades running out (once a period) come by email. The Trade Agent tells you about its own entries.

Do the profit and loss caps reset each day?

No. Despite the name Daily limits, they count the bot’s closed result since you first switched it on. When either cap is reached, the bot pauses at its next signal, its open positions stay open, and you switch it back on yourself.

Does the news filter pause only my instrument?

No. Any scheduled event of an impact you tick pauses the bot, whatever its currency, and all three impacts are ticked until you change them. The bot switches itself back on when the window passes, and you get an email.

Does every trade have a stop loss?

Only if you set one. With Auto close you set both a take profit and a stop loss. With Follow the signal on Market orders, the bot places no stop and no target, and the position closes when the source sends the opposite side. Deriv contracts settle at expiry.

Can I copy a trader instead of picking a signal?

Yes, on Basic and up. Ask to copy a trader’s bot; once its author approves, add Copy Trader to one of your bots. Their settings load as a draft, so check the size, exits and caps before you switch it on. There are no copy fees.

Can I run several bots?

Yes, up to your plan’s limit: 2 running bots on Free, 4 on Basic. Each bot trades one instrument, and two running bots can’t trade the same pair on the same account.

Does TraderFrame promise income?

No. It runs the rules you set and shows you what happened. It doesn’t remove trading risk or guarantee any result, and trading can lose money.
