IMPORTANT: Please read this Risk Disclosure carefully before using the TraderFrame automated-trading software (the "Software"). Trading involves substantial risk and is not suitable for every investor. By using the Software you confirm that you understand and accept the risks described below.
1. General Risk Warning
Trading in cryptocurrencies, foreign exchange (forex), gold and indices, futures and options (including options on shares and funds, and Deriv's Rise/Fall contracts) carries a high level of risk and may result in the loss of some or all of your invested capital. In leveraged or margin products, losses can exceed your initial deposit. You should not trade with money you cannot afford to lose, and you should seek independent financial, legal or tax advice if you are in any doubt.
2. No Guarantee of Profit
The Software automates a trading strategy that you configure, that you choose to follow, or that you allow the AI Trade Agent to carry out within the limits you set; it cannot and does not guarantee any profit or specific result. Any past performance, back-test, example or signal-provider record is not a reliable indicator of future results.
3. Automated Trading and Technology Risks
Automated trading depends on software, hardware, internet connectivity and third-party platforms (such as TradingView, MetaTrader and your Broker). Failures, latency, downtime, misconfiguration, incorrect settings or errors in any of these may result in orders not being placed, being placed incorrectly, or being placed at unfavourable prices. You are responsible for monitoring the Software and your account.
4. Copy Trading and Following Signals
The Copy Trading feature lets you replicate the actions of other traders or signal providers. This carries additional risk: you may be basing decisions on the activity of traders who may lack experience or whose objectives, intentions or financial circumstances differ from yours. A trader's past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. Copy Trading does not constitute investment advice.
4A. AI Trade Agent
The Software includes an optional AI Trade Agent that uses third-party artificial-intelligence models to read market data and to look for trades, or to judge the signals your other sources send, for a bot. You choose how much it may do:
- at the Suggest level, the agent proposes a trade, and nothing is placed unless you approve it;
- at the Enter level, the agent places trades on your Broker account by itself, within the limits you set, and tells you afterwards;
- at the Manage level, the agent also decides the size, stop loss and take profit of the trades it opens, within the limits you set, and may move the stop or close those trades.
AI models can be wrong. They can misread prices, charts or news, reach different conclusions from the same information, and be slow or unavailable. A trade the agent places or manages can lose money, including all the funds in your account and, on leveraged products, more. The limits you set (such as the largest size, the number of trades a day and the daily loss stop) reduce this risk but do not remove it, and some of them cannot be applied on every Broker or product. The agent's proposals and trades are produced automatically from the settings you choose and are not reviewed by TraderFrame before they are placed. You are responsible for choosing the level, setting the limits, monitoring the agent and switching it off.
5. Market Risk and Volatility
Cryptocurrency markets operate 24/7 and can be extremely volatile and illiquid; prices may move sharply and without warning. Forex, metals, indices, futures and options markets are affected by economic, political and other events that can cause rapid price movements. Such volatility can significantly increase the risk of loss when using automated trading.
6. Leverage and Margin
Some crypto, forex and derivative products are traded on leverage or margin. Leverage magnifies both gains and losses, and a relatively small market movement can lead to a proportionately larger loss, including a loss greater than the funds you deposited. Ensure you fully understand the leverage terms offered by your Broker.
7. Not Financial Advice
TraderFrame is a technology provider only. It is not a broker, exchange, financial adviser, fund manager or investment firm, and it does not provide investment, financial, legal or tax advice or personalised recommendations. Nothing in the Software or on our website should be construed as such advice. All trading decisions are made by you, by the third-party signals you choose to follow, or by the AI Trade Agent at the level you choose. Choosing a signal source, a trader to copy, or an AI Trade Agent level and its limits is your decision and your responsibility.
8. Regulatory and Jurisdictional Considerations
The availability, legality and appropriateness of trading crypto, forex, metals, indices, futures or options, and of any Broker, vary by jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Software and any Broker complies with the laws applicable to you. The Software may not be appropriate or available in all countries.
9. Role of TraderFrame
TraderFrame acts solely as a technology provider that creates a peer-to-peer environment for its Users and is not a counterparty to your trades. Enabling automated, copy or follow-trading modules could result in a partial or complete loss of your funds. TraderFrame is not responsible for any loss of funds arising from your use of the Software or from the actions of any Broker or signal provider.
10. Acknowledgment
By installing or using the Software you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Risk Disclosure, that you accept full responsibility for your trading decisions and their outcomes, including trades placed by the AI Trade Agent at the level you choose, and that you will only trade with funds you can afford to lose.
