Trading Journal
A Notion-style page for your trading day. Every figure in it is read from your trade records, never typed, so you only write the part the numbers can’t tell you.
On Basic and up, from $29 a month. First-time subscribers get 7 days free; you add a card to start.
Trading blocks
Trade cards, stat bands, bot tables, rules checks and before/after blocks read your trade records each time the note opens, so what you wrote last month still shows the right numbers today.
Type /trade and pick one. Side, size, entry, exit and the result come from the trade record. The tick chart draws the real path for MetaTrader 5 trades our current EA closed, and a one-minute path for IBKR futures; any other trade gets a straight entry-to-exit line.
Flip the Live/Demo switch and a daily journal’s stat band follows it. Every trade card carries its own demo or live mark.
Write your rules once. Rules check scores each one against what the bot actually did. It advises; it never blocks a trade.
Ranks the bots behind the note by net, with trades, win rate and expectancy. A bot with under 20 trades gets a thin-sample flag, so a lucky streak doesn’t pass for an edge.
Changed a bot’s settings? Pick the change and set the 14 days before it against the 14 days after. A side with under 20 trades gets a thin-sample flag.
Drafts your last 7 days as text you can edit: net, win rate, best and worst trade, the bot that carried the week. Every sentence is built from your figures; nothing is guessed.
Headings, lists, callouts and tables, with markdown shortcuts, plus images in a daily journal. Put up to four blocks side by side.
Two kinds of note
A page for the day: your plan before the open, your review after the close. Its blocks read that day’s trades.
A case file for one call. Attach the trades, answer the three prompts, then give it a verdict: keep, fix or cut.
The ledger
The ledger puts your win rate and net on days you wrote a note next to the days you didn’t, and counts your streak. Recent trading days without a note get a Write it nudge.
Your own days compared, not a promise of results. A day with a note earns the Checklist points in your TDF score’s Habit part (shared with the checklist), credited the next day.
Library
Sharing
A shared note is read-only. Readers see your words and, if you allow it, the figures read from your trades, never your balance. Attach a note to a Community post and the feed card shows its net, win rate and trades; attaching turns the note’s public link on.
Why not a spreadsheet
Questions
No. The Journal comes with every paid plan, from Basic ($29 a month) up, with no cap on notes. First-time subscribers can try a paid plan free for 7 days; you add a card to start. Anyone can read a note you publish as a public link.
No. Trades your bots place on TraderFrame are recorded as they happen, copied trades included, and a MetaTrader 5 account can import its last 90 days. A trade you place by hand on a crypto exchange or Deriv is not recorded.
Every venue a TraderFrame bot trades on: Binance, Bybit, OKX, Bitget, KuCoin, Hyperliquid, any MetaTrader 5 broker through our EA, Interactive Brokers through the TraderFrame Bridge, and Deriv.
Yes, in your editor. A day note reads only the account your Live/Demo toggle is on, and every trade card carries the demo or live mark of the account it came from.
Only you, until you share one. A person you share with gets a read-only copy and needs a Basic plan or above to open it. A public link, which attaching the note to a Community post also turns on, works for anyone until you turn it off.
No. Write the week for me builds its draft from your numbers with fixed rules, and every figure comes from your trade records.
Yes. A daily journal is a normal page. Add trading blocks only when you want the numbers in it.
