Connect your Hyperliquid wallet through an API wallet that can trade but never withdraw, or practise on the Hyperliquid testnet first. Then build a bot that trades USDC perpetuals from your signals, with take profit, stop loss and trailing steps that move a real stop on Hyperliquid. Six steps, no code.
Before you start
Hyperliquid connects over the internet, straight from Trader Frame. There is no app on your computer, and your main wallet key never leaves your wallet.
The address of the wallet that holds your USDC. For practice, the same wallet on the Hyperliquid testnet.
Deposited on Hyperliquid. A demo account trades testnet USDC from Hyperliquid’s faucet.
TradingView alerts, Telegram, Discord, Copy Trader, or Pip, the AI Trade Agent.
Created on Hyperliquid under More ▸ API. It signs trades for your wallet and can never withdraw.
Your bot decides the size, the leverage and the exits. Hyperliquid holds the take profit and stop loss with the position; trailing steps move that stop.
Step by step
Practise on the testnet first if you like: steps 4 to 6 are the same for demo and real.
The sheet asks which account to connect: Demo, on the Hyperliquid testnet, or Real.

Create the API wallet on the testnet itself: one made on mainnet does not work there. Testnet USDC comes from Hyperliquid’s testnet faucet.

The address is your main wallet, the one that holds your USDC. The key is the API wallet’s: never paste your main wallet’s own private key.

The panel shows what each trade commits: margin, notional at your leverage and the share of your balance. Hyperliquid sets the maximum leverage per market, and the testnet can differ from mainnet.

Hyperliquid has no trailing order of its own, so the trailing stop runs in Steps: Trader Frame moves your stop as the price climbs, and the stop itself rests on Hyperliquid. ROI % is measured on the margin.

Open the Trading View source for the webhook URL and the Buy and Sell alert messages, and paste them into your TradingView alert.

The message only says buy or sell. The bot decides the size, the leverage and the exits.
The alert names the pair the way your chart does, for example BTCUSDT: Trader Frame reads it as BTC/USDC on Hyperliquid. Size, leverage and exits always come from the bot.
AI trading agent for Hyperliquid
Pip is Trader Frame’s Trade Agent. Add it to a Hyperliquid bot instead of an alert: Pip reads the BTC/USDC perpetual market, decides when to go long or short, and explains every decision. Your bot still sets the size, the leverage and the exits.
Yes. Add Pip, the Trade Agent, to a Hyperliquid bot as its signal source. Pip decides when to buy or sell; the bot places the order on Hyperliquid with your size, leverage and exits.
The pair’s candles on several timeframes, plus the market around them on Hyperliquid: spread, volume, hourly funding on the perpetual and order-book depth.
Yes. Take profit, stop loss and trailing steps come from the bot’s Exit rule, and the stop and target rest on Hyperliquid with the position.
Each look Pip takes uses agent credits from your plan. The Free plan has no agent.
Demo or real
Both connect the same way, a wallet address and an API wallet key. Demo runs on the Hyperliquid testnet, with its own USDC and its own prices; real runs on mainnet. Everything you build on top is the same, so a bot proven on demo moves to real by changing its broker.
Keeping it running
Take profit and stop loss rest on Hyperliquid with the position, so they hold on their own. Trailing steps move that stop as the price climbs. Closing by hand in Trader Frame cancels the ones left over.
Set per bot in Position size. Isolated limits a trade to its own margin; Cross shares your wallet, so the liquidation price depends on your balance.
The position preview estimates entry and exit fees. Funding on Hyperliquid is paid every hour while a position stays open and changes by market, so it is not priced in advance.
The bot trades through the API wallet you created. If you remove it on Hyperliquid, or it reaches its expiry, create a new one and connect again.
Troubleshooting
Every refusal and skip is written to the bot’s Signals tab with its reason.
